What is the “1000 Partners” Project?
The project represents 1000 groups or individuals who are proud to be named as supporters of the work of The United Theological College. The participation of one thousand groups or individuals, giving $100 will enable UTC to establish the “1000 Partners Fund”, raising $100,000 per year.
Why $100,000 per year?
To maintain a full faculty, continue to develop our program and maintain our building, this is the projected annual budget shortfall that is expected over the next few years.
What Programs will it fund?
Over 30 Students in preparation for Ordered Ministry or Admission to the United Church. Various courses and workshops in preaching, biblical studies, theology and United Church practice and other lay training programs locally. Courses reaching out to francophones and equipping students to engage in ministry in French, including the preparation of the Certificate in Bilingual Ministry
How will my partnership be recognized?
Each group or individual who donates $100 will receive a specially designed pin to honour your partnership. When someone asks what it stands for, you’ll be able to share your enthusiasm for UTC and invite them to become a partner. And of course you’ll receive a tax receipt for your donation.
